ORDER OF COURT
AND NOW, September 3, 2008, the following special assignments of Magisterial District Judges are made:
1. Thomas A. Placey, District 3-4, specially assigned to preside in Districts 1-1, 1-2, 1-3, 2-1,
2-2, 3-1, 3-2, 3-3 and 3-5 for the period beginning September 29, 2008, and continuing to
midnight October 5, 2008.
2. Susan K. Day, District 3-3, specially assigned to preside in Districts 1-1, 1-2, 1-3, 2-1, 2-2
3-1, 3-2, 3-4, and 3-5 for the period beginning October 6, 2008, and continuing to mid-
night October 12, 2008.
3. Charles A. Clement, Jr., District 1-1, specially assigned to preside in District 1-2, 1-3, 2-1,
2-2, 3-1, 3-2, 3-3, 3-4 and 3-5 for the period beginning October 13, 2008, and continuing
to midnight October 19, 2008.
4. Paula P. Correal, District 2-1, specially assigned to preside in Districts 1-1, 1-2, 1-3, 2-2, 3-1,
3-2, 3-3, 3-4 and 3-5 for the period beginning October 20, 2008, and continuing to midnight
October 26, 2008.
Robert V. Manlove, District 1-2, specially assigned to preside in Districtsl-1, 1-3, 2-1, 2-2,
3-1, 3-2, 3-3, 3-4 and 3-5 for the period beginning October 27, 2007, and continuing to mid-
night November 2, 2008.
6. Harold E. Bender, District 3-1, specially assigned to preside in Districts 1-1, 1-2, 1-3, 2-1,
2-2, 3-2, 3-3, 3-4 and 3-5 for the period beginning November 3, 2008, and continuing to mid-
night November 9, 2008.
7. Vivian J. Cohick, District 3-2, specially assigned to preside in Districts 1-1, 1-2, 1-3, 2-1,
2-2, 3-1, 3-3, 3-4 and 3-5 for the period beginning November 10, 2008, and continuing to mid-
night November 16, 2008.
8. Jessica E. Brewbaker, District 2-2, specially assigned to preside in Districts 1-1, 1-2, 1-3, 2-1,
3-1, 3-2, 3-3, 3-4 and 3-5 for the period beginning November 17, 2008, and continuing to mid-
night November 23, 2008.
9. Richard S. Dougherty, Jr., District 1-3, specially assigned to preside in District 1-1, 1-2, 2-1,
2-2, 3-1, 3-2, 3-3, 3-4 and 3-5 for the period beginning November 24, 2008, and continuing to
midnight November 30, 2008.
10. Thomas A. Placey, District 3-4, specially assigned to preside in Districts 1-1, 1-2, 1-3, 2-1,
2-2, 3-1, 3-2, 3-3 and 3-5 for the period beginning December 1, 2008, and continuing to
midnight December 7, 2008.

12. Charles A. Clement, Jr., District 1-1, specially assigned to preside in District 1-2, 1-3, 2-1,
2-2, 3-1, 3-2, 3-3, 3-4 and 3-5 for the period beginning December 15, 2008, and continuing
to midnight December 21, 2008.
13. Paula P. Correal, District 2-1, specially assigned to preside in Districts 1-1, 1-2, 1-3, 2-2, 3-1,
3-2, 3-3, 3-4 and 3-5 for the period beginning December 22, 2008, and continuing to midnight
December 28, 2008.
It is understood that the magisterial district judge specially assigned in this Order shall have
criminal and civil jurisdiction and authority of the assigned magisterial districts and shall continue
to exercise jurisdiction and authority in their elected or appointed magisterial district. The presiding
magisterial district judges of the assigned magisterial districts shall have full power and authority to
preside in their own districts during this period of special assignment. The purpose of these assign-
ments is to insure the availability at all times within this 9~' Judicial District of at least one magister-
ial district judge.
