Hair who died, February 21,2008, having first made his last will and testament dated February 15, 1989. (attached as Exhibit A). 2.) Your petitioner was appointed executrix of the last will and testament of decedent by the register of wills of Cumberland County on February 27,2008. 3.) At the time of his death Harold L. Hair was the owner ofa tract of land situate in Cumberland County, more accurately described in Exhibit B. 4.) The real estate was not specifically devised by decedent's will. 5.) Your petitioner desires to take said real estate in kind as part of her distributive share. 6.) All creditors of the estate have been paid; the Pennsylvania Inheritance Tax return has been filed and the tax paid. 7.) Court approval is required by Section 3356 of the Probate, Estate and 1 ;, Fiduciaries Code (20 Pa CSA 3356) to authorize conveyance of assets of the estate to the personal representative in her own right and to authorize the Clerk of the Court to execute and deliver the deed of conveyance. (Exhibit C) WHEREFORE your petitioner respectfully requests your Honorable Court to make an order authorizing and directing the Clerk of the Orphans' Court to execute and deliver a deed conveying the real estate of the decedent to Sandra K. I direct the payment of all my just debts and funeral expenses as soon as the same can be conveniently done after my decease. 2. LONG, of the Township of Silver Spring, Cumberland County, State of Pennsylvania, GRANTEE WHEREAS, Harold L. Hair died February 21 2008, having first made his Last Will and Testament dated February 15, 1989, in which he named his daughter Sandra K. Long to be his executrix, and WHEREAS, Letters Testamentary were granted to Sandra K. Long by the Register of Wills of Cumberland County February 27,2008, and WHEREAS, Sandra K. Long is the sole heir of Harold L. Hair and inherits the entire estate of decedent, and WHEREAS, decedent owned a tract of land in Silver Spring Township which Sandra K. Long desires to take in kind as part of her distributive share, and WHEREAS, court approval is required of a conveyance by the executrix of an estate to herself in her own right, and WHEREAS, Sandra K. Long, pursuant to 3356 of the Probate, Estate and Fiduciaries Code (20 Pa C.S.A. 3356) petitioned the Court for approval of her request to take the real estate of the decedent in kind as part of her distributive share, and WHEREAS, on October , 2008, the Court made an order granting her petition and directing Glenda Farner Strasbuagh, Clerk of the Orphans' Court of Cumberland County to make, execute, acknowledge and deliver a deed conveying the tract of land to Sandra K.
