AND NOW, this ~__~day ofj~~~_, 2004, upon consideration of
the foregoing petition of Judith L. Gro~ for settlementof a small estate pursuant to 20
P.S. § 3102, it is hereby ordered and decreed that the Estate of Fred N. Gross, Jr., in
so far as it consists of a certificate of deposit at PNC Bank in the principal amount of ten
thousand ($10,000) dollars, shall be distributed to the said Judith L. Gross.

Petition for Settlement of Small Estate Pursuant to 20 Pa. Cons. Stat. § 3102
TO THE HONORABLE, THE JUDGES OF THE SAID COURT:
The petition of JUDITH L. GROSS respectfully states that:
FRED N. GROSS, Jr. ("Decedent") died on March 25, 2003, a resident of the
Borough of Carlisle, Cumberland County, Pennsylvania.
Petitioner, whose address is 641 Yorkshire Drive, Carlisle~nns~ania~the
surviving spouse of Decedent.
Decedent died intestate. ::::' ..-,
All of Decedent's property was held jointly with the petition~i:~, :his wi~, as tenants
by the entireties, with the sole exception of a $10,000 c~i~cate ~f de~ at
PNC bank, which was titled in the name of Decedent, alone~
In addition to the petitioner, Decedent was survived by three children, all of whom
are also children of the petitioner, so that, under the intestate statute, 20 Pa. C.S.
§ 2102, the petitioner is entitled to the first $30,000 of Decedent's probate estate
and one-half of the balance.
On the date of the Decedent's death Petitioner formed a part of Decedent's
household, and the petitioner is the person entitled to the family exemption.
All of Decedents property is taxable at 0% as transfers to his surviving spouse for
purposes of the Pennsylvania inheritance tax, and no federal estate tax is due.
All funeral and burial expenses have been paid in full, and all debts of the
decedent fully satisfied.
WHEREFORE, Petitioner prays the Court award the Estate of Fred N. Gross, Jr.,
deceased, to the petitioner, and order distribution to her of the said certificate of deposit
by PNC Bank.
