I am the executor for the above referenced estate and this is a request to correct two
entries on the PA Rev 1500 that was filed on August 14, 2008. Per a conversation with
William Lyons in your office, this return has not yet been assigned to an examiner.
Specifically, the following items need to be corrected on the return:
Schedule A:
1. "Date of Death Value" of the property should be increased to: $199,900.00
Schedule G:
1. "Taxable Value" of Raymond James IRA should be increased to: $164,617.74
As a result of these corrections and additional deductions that will reported on a
supplemental return filed in approximately two weeks, there is an increased tax liability
as estimated below:
total gross assets (Schedules A - F): $575,076.46
Estimated total deductions (Schedules H - I): $ 88,568.85
Estimated net value: $486,507.61
Estimated tax at lineal rate (4.5%): $ 21,892.84
Amount previously paid: ($ 15,603.00)
Discount (5%): ($ 822.00)
Estimated interest: $ 220.00
Estimated tax due: $ 5,687.84
