MUNICIPAL LIEN FOR SERVICES AND SEWER RATES
AND NOW, comes Monroe Township Municipal Authority, of 1220
Boiling Springs Road, Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania, by and through
its Solicitor, Jennifer B. Hipp, Esquire, and files the following
municipal claim against Shawn M. Cline, an adult individual,
owning property located at 1284 Boiling Springs Road, Boiling
Springs, Monroe Township, Cumberland County, Pennsylvania, 17007,
his last known mailing address being: 1284 Boiling Springs Road,
Boiling Springs, Monroe Township, Cumberland County, Pennsylvania
17007. Shawn M. Cline is the owner of all that certain lot of
ground, including any improvements thereon, being more fully
described as follows:
ALL THAT CERTAIN lot of ground with the improvements thereon
erected, situate in the Village of Allen, Monroe Township,
Cumberland County, Pennsylvania, bounded and described in
accordance with a survey by Charles W. Jenkins, Registered
Surveyor, dated August 28, 1984, to wit:
BEGINNING at a point in Legislative Route 507 (Boiling
Springs Road), which point is 602 feet westerly of the
intersection of said road with Zimmerman Road; thence North
15 degrees 47 minutes West along land now or formerly of
Vance C. Enck, Jr., a distance of 243.93 feet to a corner of
concrete curbing; thence North 74 degrees 12 minutes 20
seconds East, along land now or formerly of John Harbold, a
distance of 84.40 feet to an iron pin; thence South 15
degrees 32 minutes East along North Street, a distance of
243.50 feet to a point in Legislative Route 507; thence by a
curve to the left having a radius of 2864.93 feet, an arc
distance of 83.35 feet, also having a chord South 73 degrees
54 minutes 10 seconds West, a distance of 83.35 feet to the
point and place of BEGINNING.
HAVING THEREON erected a dwelling house known and numbered
as 1284 Boiling Springs Road, Boiling Springs, Pennsylvania.
BEING THE SAME PREMISES WHICH John B. Backenstoes and Lori
A. Backenstoes, husband and wife, by deed dated October 13,
2006 and recorded October 19, 2006, in the Cumberland County
Record of Deeds Office, in Deed Book 277, Page 938, granted
and conveyed unto Shawn M. Cline, Owner.
Tax Parcel No. 22-28-2401-006
Monroe Township Municipality Authority hereby files this
Municipal-Lien for Services-and Sewer Rates levied and assessed
from October 1, 2006 through and up to and including September
30, 2008 (Fourth calendar quarter 2006 through and including
third calendar quarter 2008). Said Authority services and sewer
rates were levied and assessed pursuant to Authority Resolution
No. 02-04, same being known as a Resolution of the Board of
Monroe Township Municipal Authority imposing user charges to be
collected from the owner of each improved property served or to
be served by this Authority's sewer systems; and providing for
payment and collection of such user charges. Attached hereto and

incorporated herein are the statements forwarded by Monroe
Township Municipal Authority to Shawn M. Cline for sewerage due
to be treated from October 1, 2006 through and up to and
including September 30, 2008 (Fourth calendar quarter 2006
through and including third calendar quarter 2008), which
services total is in the amount of $1,678.51, which sum was duly
assessed against Shawn M. Cline, and the real property described
herein from the date of said billing statements as attached
hereto, and for which sum, with interest in the amount of ten
(10%) percent, along with penalties and all costs, including
attorneys' fees, a municipal lien is claimed against the above-
described real property and premises in accordance with the Act
of May 16, 1923, P.L. 207, §7, as amended, 53 P.S. §7101, et seq,
as amended (Municipal Claims and Tax Liens).

Dear Mr. Cline:
I am contacting you on behalf of Monroe Township relative to your sewer account #1266.
This account is delinquent. As of the last billing notice, same being dated August 15, 2008, the
delinquency is in the amount of $1,678.51. The purpose of this letter is to request that these
accounts be brought current. If the accounts are not brought current within thirty (30) days of
receipt of this letter, a Municipal Lien will be placed against real estate owned by you, same
being known and numbered as 1284 Boiling Springs Road, Boiling Springs, PA. This will
result in filing fees, service costs and attorney's fees. Attorney's fees that are incurred with
respect to the collection of this delinquent account will be assessed. Attorney's fees will be
charged at the current rate. Attorney's fees will be imposed and/or assessed if this amount
remains delinquent after thirty (30) days from the mailing of this notice. The imposition of
assessment of attorney's fees may be avoided by you making payment in full of the delinquency
within thirty(30) days of receipt of this letter as set forth herein.
