Dear Ms. Strasbaugh,
It has come to my attention that my sister, Trudy Mintz, has requested that she be
appointed the personal representative for the estate of my mother, Dorothy J. Marietta. I would
like to request an alternate arrangement, and clearly state that
1) I request that my brother, Martin Marietta, be named executor of our mother's estate.
2) I object to my sister, Trudy Mintz, being named executor.
3) Many years ago, our mother left the family and moved to New Mexico. Since that time,
the person who has maintained the closest relationship with our mother is clearly Martin.
When she became ill and then incapacitated, he traveled to New Mexico several times,
took care of her, and looked after her medical procedures. Neither I nor my sister did so.
4) After her passing, Martin made the arrangements for her funeral, which he and I attended
in New Mexico. Our sister did not.
5) To my knowledge, the estate has more debts than assets, so this is not a question of
inheritance, but merely who will administer the final arrangements.
6) Martin is the most familiar with her assets and liabilities, and has put many hours into
dealing with her estate.

On December 19, 2008, this office received of your letter of December 12, 2008,
requesting that your brother be made executor.
Please be advised that Trudy Marietta Mintz petitioned for Letters of
Administration for the above estate on November 14, 2008. Ancillary Letters of
Administration were granted to her on that day.
