Please have your client submit an amended petition with the correct amount on it - fee of
$15.
Also, have him submit a letter explaining the inflated amount and ask for the refund,
which will be considered after receiving, based on information provided.
A new decree for bond would be issued following filing of the above.

Dear Sir or Madam,
My name is Benjamin J. Butler and I represent Gerald Fitzgerald. I met with my client on
12/12/08 and he informed me that he tried to open an estate for Patrick Joseph Fitzgerald
(brother). He also informed me that he incorrectly overstated the probate assets. We
would like to prepare a new Petition for Grant of Letters with a corrected probate amount.
We would also like to get a bond based on 2 times the corrected probate amount. Since no
Letters of Administration were issued (no
bond) when my client was sworn in at the courthouse I assume this won't be a problem.
Please advise.
