PETITION FOR LEAVE TO WITHDRAW AS EXECUTRIX
-~ '
This Petition of Teresa L. Pennington, Executrix of the Estate of Violet R. Basehore a/k/a
Violet E. Basehore, respectfully represents:
1. The Petitioner is Teresa L. Pennington, who resides at 29 Forest Drive,
Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania 17055.
2. Petitioner's mother, Violet R. Basehore a/k/a Violet E. Bashore, died on
December 3, 2008.
3. Petitioner was named Executrix in the Last Will of her mother, Violet R.
Basehore a/k/a Violet E. Bashore, which Last Will was dated March 31, 2005.
4. Petitioner probated her mother's Last Will and was granted Letters Testamentary
by the Register of Wills in and for Cumberland County, Pennsylvania, on January 30, 2009.
5. Petitioner was informed recently by her physician that she has a medical condition
which requires surgery and possibly an extended treatment and recovery period.
6. Petitioner is scheduled for surgery on March 13, 2009.
7. Petitioner is concerned that due to her medical condition, pending surgery,
treatment and possible lengthy recover period, she will not be able to complete her fiduciary
duties as Executrix of her mother's estate.
8. Petitioner's brother, Tito A. Basorez, was named alternate Executor in the Last
Will of his mother Violet R. Basehore a/k/a Violet E. Basehore.
9. Tito A. Basorez, Petitioner's brother, concurs in this request by Petitioner, Teresa
L. Pennington, to withdraw as Executrix of their mother's Estate and be appointed Executor by
the Court.
WHEREFORE, Petitioner, Teresa L. Penningon, respectfully requests this Honorable
Court grant her Leave to Withdraw as Executrix in the above-captioned matter.
