PETITION IN RE: ADDITIONAL SECURITY ON
SALE OF REALTY BY ADMINISTRATRIX
Now comes the petitioner, ISABELLE L. TRAVITZ, Administratrix of the ESTATE
OF JOHN C. MOFFIT, deceased, and presents this petition, representing as follows:
1. That JOHN C. MOFFIT, of Upper Frankford, Cumberland County,
Pennsylvania, died intestate on February 13, 1975, survived by three sons, seven
daughters and one grandson as his sole heirs at law.
2. That Petitioner and Dorothy G. Murray were duly appointed and qualified
as Administratrices of the Estate on July 25, 1975, by action of the Register of Wills for
Cumberland County, Pennsylvania.
3. That a bond in the principal amount of Fifty Thousand Dollars
($50,000.00) on which the Pennsylvania National Mutual Casualty Insurance Co. was
the surety, was filed on July 29, 1975.
4. That since that time, Dorothy G. Murray has died and the surviving
administratrix, your petitioner, continues to act as such.
5. That the total value of the personal Estate of the decedent which remains
in the hands of the petitioner at this time is less than Two Thousand ($2,000.00) dollars.
6. That pursuant to the authority granted in Section 3351 of the Probate,
Estates and Fiduciaries Code (20Pa. C.S.A. 3351), petitioner has entered into an
agreement of sale for the sale of one lot owned by the estate and situate in Upper
Frankford Township, Cumberland County, Pennsylvania, consisting of .09610 acres of
land, with Roger E. Moffitt, of Upper Frankford Township, Cumberland County,
Pennsylvania, for the purchase price of Eleven Thousand Dollars ($11,000.00).
7. That the sale of this lot will provide the estate with necessary funds to
prepare for and to sell the remaining real estate owned by the estate and conclude the
administration of this estate.
8. That the net proceeds of the sale of the realty which will remain in the
hands of the Administratrices for administration and distribution as part of the estate of
JOHN C. MOFFITT will be approximately Six Thousand and 00/100 ($6,000) Dollars,
which sum shall remain in the escrow account of the attorney for the estate for
additional estate administration costs and other legal costs and fees until the final
administration of the estate.
WHEREFORE, petitioner respectfully requests your Honorable Court to enter an
Order excusing them from entering additional security before receiving the proceeds
from the sale of the real estate described in tJ~is p~ition.

ORDER OF COURT
NOW, this ~_, day of October, 2003, upon consideration of the within
petition and on motion of Harold S. Irwin, III, attorney for the Estate of John C. Moffitt, it
is ordered and decreed that ISABELLE L. TRAVITZ, administratrix of the Estate of John
C., Moffitt, deceased, may receive the proceeds of the sale of the realty set forth in this
petition without the filing by her of additional bond.
