Pennsylvania Election Code, 25 P.S. § 2641(c)
County Board of Elections: Membership
As you may be aware, I am running for election to the office of Jury Commissioner this
year. The Election Code, 25 P.S. § 2641(c) states that whenever a member of the Board of
Commissioners is a candidate for nomination or election to any public office, he or she may not
serve as a member of the Board of Elections. The President Judge of the Court of Common
Pleas shall appoint a judge or an elector of the County to serve in his stead. I would like to
recommend the following person to be appointed to serve over the conduct of the Primary and
Municipal Elections and all other election matters for the year 2009:
