For dates of death on or after July 1, 1994 and before January 1,1995, the tax rate imposed on the net value of transfers to or for the use of the
surviving spouse is 3% [72 P.S. §9116 (a) (1.1) (i)].
For dates of death on or after January 1,1995, the tax rate imposed on the net value of transfers to or for the use of the surviving spouse is 0%
[72 P.S. §9116 (a) (1.1) (ii)]. The statute does not exempt a transfer to a surviving spouse from tax, and the statutory requirements for disclosure
of assets and filing a tax return are still applicable even if the surviving spouse is the only beneficiary.
For dates of death on or after July 1,2000:
The tax rate imposed on the net value of transfers from a deceased child twenty-one years of age or younger at death to or for the use of a natural
parent, an adoptive parent, or a stepparent of the child is 0% [72 P.S. §9116 (a) (1.2)].
The tax rate imposed on the net value of transfers to or for the use of the decedent's lineal beneficiaries is 4.5%, except as noted in 72 P.S. §9116
1.2) [72 P.S. §9116 (a) (1)].
The tax rate imposed on the net value of transfers to or for the use of the decedent's siblings is 12% [72 P.S. §9116 (a) (1.3)]. A sibling is defined,
under Section 9102, as an individual who has at least one parent in common with the decedent, whether by blood or adoption.

If any tax due is pald within three (3) calendar months after the decedent's death, a five percent (51) discount of
the tax paid is allowed.
The 151 tax amnesty non-participation penalty is computed on the total of the tax and interest assessed, and not
paid before January 18, 1996, the first day after the end of the tax amnesty period. This non-participation
penalty is appealable in the same manner and in the the same tiaa period as you would appeal the tax and interest
that has been assessed as indicated on this notice.
Interest is charged beginning with first day of delinquency, or nine (9) months and one (1) day from the date of
death, to the date of payment. Taxes which became delinquent before January 1, 1982 bear interest at the rate of
six (61) percent per annum calculated at a daily rate of .000164. All taxes which became delinquent on and after
January 1, 1982 will bear interest at a rate which will vary from calendar year to calendar year ~ith that rate

This Receipt, Release and Indemnification Agreement (hereinafter referred to as "Agreement") is
given this ~0~ day of ~Jtt~Jl~ , 2003, by IAN BROWN, of 1800 Silverpine Circle,
Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania, 17050, (hereinafter referred to as "Beneficiary").
WITNESSETH:
WHEREAS, Patricia T. Brown, (hereinafter referred to as "Decedent"), late of East Pennsboro
Township, Cumberland County, Pennsylvania, died intestate on January 21,2002.
WHEREAS, Letters of Administration on the Estate of the said Decedent were duly issued on
February 7, 2002, by the Register of Wills of Cumberland County, Pennsylvania, unto Maria Lucas and
Andrew J. Brown, Jr., who were appointed as Co-Administrators of the Estate (hereinafter referred to as
"Co-Administrators");
WHEREAS, the Co-Administrators have paid all the debts, taxes and expenses of the Estate known
to them as detailed in the Pennsylvania Inheritance Tax Return and Tax Assessment Notice, and they have
no knowledge of any unpaid claim which may be asserted against the Estate, nor do they have any reason to
believe that there are any such claims;
WHEREAS, the Beneficiary is beneficially interested in the above referenced estate; and
WHEREAS, it is the desire of the Beneficiary that distribution be made without the formality of an
accounting, and the Co-Administrators are willing to make such distribution upon the receipt of a proper
release and indemnification, which it is the purpose of this Agreement to provide.
NOW, THEREFORE, intending to be legally bound hereby, the Beneficiary represents, warrants,
covenants and agrees as follows:
1. Waiver of Accounting. The Beneficiary hereby waives the necessity for an accounting
and directs the Co-Administrators to dispense with a formal audit of the same.
2. Receipt. The Beneficiary requests the Co-Administrators to make distribution of the
following property (adjusted for subsequent income and expenses) and effective upon delivery to the
undersigned of the property shown as distributable, acknowledges receipt of such property:

The Beneficiary does further acknowledge that the aforesaid distribution, in addition to any partial

distribution made prior to the date of this Agreement, represents the Beneficiary's entire interest in the
above-referenced estate, as detailed in the Informal Accounting attached hereto as Exhibit A.
3. Release. Upon having received the above described property distribution, the Beneficiary
does by these presents remise, release, quit-claim and forever discharge from all actions, suits, payments,
accounts, reckonings, claims and demands whatsoever, (a) the Co-Administrators for or by reason of the Co-
Administrators' administration of the above-referenced Estate, or any other act, matter, cause or thing
whatsoever; and (b) Skarlatos & Zonarich LLP, its employees, successors and assigns, for or by reason of
their representation of the Co-Administrators, or any other act, matter, cause or thing whatsoever.
4. Indemnification. In exchange for the Co-Administrators' willingness to make the
distribution hereunder without first securing the benefit of a formal court audit, the Beneficiary agrees to
indemnify Co-Administrators and Skarlatos & Zonarich LLP, its employees, successors and assigns, and
hold them harmless, to the extent of any funds or assets received by the Beneficiary hereunder, from and
against the Beneficiary's then pro rata share of any and all liabilities, losses, damages, costs, verdicts,
judgments, awards and expenses (including attorney's fees and other costs or expenses of defense) to which
(i) the Co-Administrators may be subjected by reason of the Co-Administrators' administration of the above
referenced Estate, as well as the settlement thereof by means of an informal distribution; and (ii) Skarlatos
& Zonarich LLP, its employees, successors and assigns may be subjected by reason of their representation
of the Co-Administrators. The Beneficiary further agrees to:
a. Refund or return, promptly upon the Co-Administrators' written demand, any
funds or assets distributed by the Co-Administrators to the Beneficiary, if the distribution thereof is
determined at any time to have been an erroneous or negligent distribution to the Beneficiary,
whether such error or negligence was or was claimed to have been premised upon a mistake of law
or of fact.
b. Modify and displace any otherwise applicable period limiting the time within
which the Co-Administrators' action to collect an erroneous or negligent distribution must be
commenced, so as to provide that the Co-Administrators need not commence an action to collect an
erroneous or negligent distribution to the Beneficiary until two (2) years after such time as the Co-
Administrators shall have obtained actual knowledge of such error or negligence.
5. Miscellaneous
a. The provisions of this Agreement shall be deemed severable in the event that one
or more thereof shall be deemed invalid or unenforceable, with the effect that the remaining
provisions shall persist as if such invalid or unenforceable provision had never been a part hereof.
In addition, the construction, effect, validity and performance of this Agreement shall be governed
in all respects by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, without regard to its conflict of
laws provision.
b. This Agreement shall bind the Beneficiary, the Beneficiary's heirs, representatives,
successors, and assigns together with any person with respect to whom the Beneficiary is a natural
or appointed guardian.
c. The Beneficiary hereby acknowledges that this Agreement may be filed at any
time, at the discretion of the Co-Administrators with any court of competent jurisdiction, and the
Beneficiary consents to any such filing.

NOW, THEREFORE, intending to be legally bound hereby, the Beneficiary represents, warrants,
covenants and agrees as follows:
I. Waiver of Accounting. The Beneficiary hereby waives the necessity for an accounting
and directs the Co-Administrators to dispense with a formal audit of the same.
2. Receipt. The Beneficiary requests the Co-Administrators to make distribution of the
following property (adjusted for subsequent income and expenses) and effective upon delivery to the
undersigned of the property shown as distributable, acknowledges receipt of such property:

The Beneficiary does further acknowledge that the aforesaid distribution, in addition to any partial

distribution made prior to the date of this Agreement, represents the Beneficiary's entire interest in the
above-referenced estate, as detailed in the Informal Accounting attached hereto as Exhibit A.
3. Release. Upon having received the above described property distribution, the Beneficiary
does by these presents remise, release, quit-claim and forever discharge from all actions, suits, payments,
accounts, reckonings, claims and demands whatsoever, (a) the Co-Administrators for or by reason of the Co-
Administrators' administration of the above-referenced Estate, or any other act, matter, cause or thing
whatsoever; and (b) Skarlatos & Zonarich LLP, its employees, successors and assigns, for or by reason of
their representation of the Co-Administrators, or any other act, matter, cause or thing whatsoever.
4. Indemnification. In exchange for the Co-Administrators' willingness to make the
distribution hereunder without first securing the benefit of a formal court audit, the Beneficiary agrees to
indemnify Co-Administrators and Skarlatos & Zonarich LLP, its employees, successors and assigns, and
hold them harmless, to the extent of any funds or assets received by the Beneficiary hereunder, from and
against the Beneficiary's then pro rata share of any and all liabilities, losses, damages, costs, verdicts,
judgments, awards and expenses (including attorney's fees and other costs or expenses of defense) to which
(i) the Co-Administrators may be subjected by reason of the Co-Administrators' administration of the above
referenced Estate, as well as the settlement thereof by means of an informal distribution; and (ii) Skarlatos
& Zonarich LLP, its employees, successors and assigns may be subjected by reason of their representation
of the Co-Administrators. The Beneficiary further agrees to:
a. Refund or return, promptly upon the Co-Administrators' written demand, any
funds or assets distributed by the Co-Administrators to the Beneficiary, if the distribution thereof is
determined at any time to have been an erroneous or negligent distribution to the Beneficiary,
whether such error or negligence was or was claimed to have been premised upon a mistake of law
or of fact.
b. Modify and displace any otherwise applicable period limiting the time within
which the Co-Administrators' action to collect an erroneous or negligent distribution must be
commenced, so as to provide that the Co-Administrators need not commence an action to collect an
erroneous or negligent distribution to the Beneficiary until two (2) years after such time as the Co-
Administrators shall have obtained actual knowledge of such error or negligence.
5. Miscellaneous
a. The provisions of this Agreement shall be deemed severable in the event that one
or more thereof shall be deemed invalid or unenforceable, with the effect that the remaining
provisions shall persist as if such invalid or unenforceable provision had never been a part hereof.
In addition, the construction, effect, validity and performance of this Agreement shall be governed
in all respects by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, without regard to its conflict of
laws provision.
b. This Agreement shall bind the Beneficiary, the Beneficiary's heirs, representatives,
successors, and assigns together with any person with respect to whom the Beneficiary is a natural
or appointed guardian.
c. The Beneficiary hereby acknowledges that this Agreement may be filed at any
time, at the discretion of the Co-Administrators with any court of competent jurisdiction, and the
Beneficiary consents to any such filing.

This R.eceipt, Release and Indemnification Agreement (hereinafter referred to as "Agreement") is

Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania, 170~(3, (hereinafter referred to as "Beneficiary").
WITNESSETH:
WHEREAS, Patricia T. Brown, (hereinafter referred to as "Decedent"), late of East Pennsboro
Township, Cumberland County, Pennsylvania, died intestate on January 21,2002.
WHEREAS, Letters of Administration on the Estate of the said Decedent were duly issued on
February 7, 2002, by the Register of Wills of Cumberland County, Pennsylvania, unto Maria Lucas and
Andrew J. Brown, Jr., who were appointed as Co-Administrators of the Estate (hereinafter referred to as
"Co-Administrators");
WHEREAS, the Co-Administrators have paid all the debts, taxes and expenses of the Estate known
to them as detailed in the Pennsylvania Inheritance Tax Return and Tax Assessment Notice, and they have
no knowledge of any unpaid claim which may be asserted against the Estate, nor do they have any reason to
believe that there are any such claims;
WHEREAS, the Beneficiary is beneficially interested in the above referenced estate; and
WHEREAS, it is the desire of the Beneficiary that distribution be made without the formality of an
accounting, and the Co-Administrators are willing to make such distribution upon the receipt of a proper
release and indemnification, which it is the purpose of this Agreement to provide.
