I represent the Estate of Jean W. Paules. Enclosed is a
check made payable to the Register of Wills, Agent in the amount
of $40,897.50, same constituting a prepayment at discount on
account of Pennsylvania inheritance taxes in the above-captioned
estate. The prepayment is determined as follows: $296,000.00 -
minus $9,000.00 of charitable bequests or $287,000.00, multiplied
by 150 or $43,050.00, less discount in the amount of 50 or
$2,152.50, resulting in payment of $40,897.50. Please provide me
with the appropriate receipt in this matter.
