~~ Step-Parent Adoption Home Studies
Effective immediately the court had directed that home studies will not be required for
step-parent adoptions. The fee for a home study should no longer be charged on these cases.
The Judges retain the right to order a home study in step-parent adoptions if they feel that one is
necessary.
