That your petitioner emigrated
from that part of the dominions of the king of the united kingdoms of Great
Britain and IrelarA called Ireland in the month of a, ld/s in the year of
our Lord one thousand v' ,,- , . hundred and and hath
resided five years and upwards, within the limits, and"6uder the jurisdiction of
the United States, and one year immediately preceding this application within the
limits of Pennsylvania.
That your petitioner was also residing within the limits, and under the ja.
e-isdition of the United States between the eighteenth day of dune one thousand
severe hundred and ninety eight, and the fourteenth day of April one thousand
eight hundred and two, and still continues to reside therein.
He therefore prays
your honors to admit him to becomea citizen of the United States and of the State
of Pennsylvania:

That duruig the said time, he bath resided within the limits and under the iri-
risdiction of the United States, and one year immediately preceding this app' ca-
tion, within the State of Pennsylvania that he was residing between the eigteenth
day of June one thousand seven hundredand ninety eight, and the fourteenth day of
April one thousand eight hundred mid two, within the limits and under the juris-
dietion of the United States,
and is well disposed towards the good order and hap-
piness of the same and supports a good moral character. '

the Constitution of the United States and the Constitution of the State of Pennsyl-
vania, and that I do absolutely and entirely renounce and abjure all allegiance and
fidelity to every Foreign otentate state or sovereignty whatever and
particularly to George the Zlnig of the united kingdoms of Great Britain
and Ireland.
