Fought, age 88, formerly of Allendale Road, Mechanicsburg, passed away Tuesday, January 6, 2009 at Loyalton of Creekview. Born Apri113,1920 in Carlisle, she was a daughter of the late Raymond 0. and Mary Saxon Ritter Shank. Miriam retired from Konhaus Farms and Weis Markets where she worked for more than 26 years. She was a member of the Ameri - can Gold StarMothers. She was preceded in death by her son, Paul E. Fought, Jr. and her sister, Jean Boyles. Surviving are her husband, Paul E. Fought; daughter, Mary Wilson and husband Ron; grandson, .tames Wil - son and wife Tangee; two great grandchildren, all of Shermans Dale; sister, Eve - lyn Davidson of Ft. Myers, FL; and brother, James H. Shank of Mechanicsburg. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m., Thursday at Malpezzi Funeral Home, Me - chanicsburg. Burial will fol - low at Rolling Green Ceme - tery. Viewing will take place from 12:30-1:30p.m., at the fil- neralhome.
