Shoemaker (f/k/a George Papoutsis~ Inheritance Tax Release of Lien Dear Mr. Wilson: Reference is made to your letter to me dated June 18, 2009, requesting that the Department of Revenue (Department) prepare and provide to you an inheritance tax release of lien on behalf of the above-captioned Estate. Please be advised that the Department is pleased to do so. Consideration in the amount of $6,543.88 is due for the release of lien. This amount represents the acceptance of $265,000 as the current fair market value of the property, a deduction of $1 19,580.35 for the mortgage pay-off, and the application of a four and one-half (4.5%) percent inheritance tax rate. Payment of $6,543:88 should be made to the Register of Wills of Cumberland County under estate file number 21-20008-0935 since Letters Testamentary have been issued by that Office. A receipt will be provided for your payment. Fax to my attention a copy of the receipt and I will send to you an original and copy of the release of lien. You will be instructed to file the original release of lien with the Register of Wills of Cumberland County. The copy may be retained for your records.
