MOTION TO EXTEND EMERGENCY G ARDIANSHIP
AND NOW COMES the Cumberland County Aging & Community Services, in
and for Cumberland County, Pennsylvania, who represents and moves as follows:

The Moving Party is the Cumberland. County Aging & Community Services, in
and for Cumberland County, with its office located at 16 West Hi Street, ''~

The alleged incapacitated person is Swen O. Jensen, age 71, married art, who o "' `-

resides at 317 Carol Street, New Cumberland, Cumberland County, Pennsylvania.

On August 27, 2009, Cumberland County Aging & Community Services filed a
Petition for Appointment of Emergency Guardians of the Person and Estate of Swen O.
Jensen , an alleged incapacitated person.

On September 1, 2009, a Hearing was held on the Petition resulting in an Order
being entered wherein Cumberland County Aging & Community Services, in and for
Cumberland County, Pennsylvania was appointed Emergency Plenary Guardians of the
Person and Estate of Swen O. Jensen, which Order is effective for seventy-two (72)
hours.

The seventy-two (72) hour period has elapsed.

Movant believes and, therefore, avers that the emergency continues because his
condition remains the same.

Movant believes and, therefore, avers that the Emergency Order dated September
1, 2009, a copy of which is attached hereto, mazked as Exhibit "A", and incorporated
herein by reference, should be extended for twenty (20) days from the expiration of the
initial Emergency Order.

Mazk F. Bayley, Esquire, counsel for Swen O. Jensen, the alleged incapacitated
person, does not object to the requested extension.
WHEREFORE, Movant prays that this Honorable Court:
Extend the appointment of the Cumberland County Aging & Community
Services, in and for Cumberland County, Pennsylvania, as Emergency Guazdians of the
Person and Estate of Swen O. Jensen, an alleged incapacitated person, for twenty (20)
days from the expiration of the initial Emergency Order, at which time a full
Guazdianship Heazing will be held.
