on that certain lot of ground situate in
ALL THAT CERTAIN lot of ground with the improvements thereon erected situate in
the Fourth Ward of the B oro'agh of Carlisle, Cumberland County, Pennsylvania, bounded
and described as follows: On the North by West North Street; on the East by property
now or formerly of William Wagner; on the Sough'by a ten foot alley; and on the West by
property formerly of Christ Janavaris.
CONTAINING 28 feet, more or less, in fi~ont on said West North Street and extending in
depth 120 feet to an alley on the South.
BEING improved with a two story brick and stone dwelling house known as No. 126
West North Street.
NO IF THEREFORE.., THIS JGREEMENT ~FITNESSETH: That the said Contractor, for and in consideration of
the sum of ($ Z 00) Dogar to it in hand paid by Owner, the receipt whervof is hereby
ac~nowledge~ and t~e further co~ideration mentioned in the agreement aforesai~ for themselves and their
subcontractors, a~d ~ parties acting thro~h or under them, covenant and agree that no mechanic ~ liens or rlaima
s~all be ~fed or maintained by them or an~ o/ ~em against the said buildings ~d the lot of ground appurtenan~
t~ereto for or on account of any ~or~ done or materials furn~hed by them or any of them under said contract or
othe~ise, for, towards, in, or about the erection and construction of the said buildings on the lot above described,
and the said Contractor, for themselves, their subcontractors and others under t~em hereby expressly ~alve and
relinquish the rig~t to have, file, and maintain any mec~anic~ liens or cloims ~ainst the said busings or an~ of
them, and agree that this instrument, waiving the right of lien, shall be an independent covenant.
