Penn Street, Carlisle, PA 17013 ° , here/na.~ter referred to as Owner. whereby the former undertook and agreed to erect and construct (~i~q~>~l~r'~c'~i~: ~:, ~' ¢~t~e=ff-~l~'t~ on that certain lot of ground situate in ALL THAT CERTAIN house and lot of ground located in the Borough of Carlisle, Cumberland County, Pennsylvania, mom particularly bounded and described as follows: BOUNDED on the North by West North Street; on the East by property now or formerly of George W. Engle; on the South by an alley; and on the West y property now or formerly of Annie R. Liggett; containing sixteen (16) feet, more or less, in front and one hundred twenty (120) feet, mom or less, in depth, and, HAVING thereon erected a two and one-half (2 %) story brick and frame dwelling house and a one-car garage and being known as No. 132 West North Street. NON THEREFOR.E, THIS,4GREEMENT IF1TNESSETH: That the said Contractor, for nnd in consideration of the sum of ($l. OO) Dollar to it in hand paid by Oumer, the receipt whereof i~ hereby achnowledged, and thc further consideration mentioned in the agreement aforesaid· for themselves and their subcontractors, and all partiee acting through or under them, covenant and agree that no mechanic's liens or claims shall be filed or maintained by them or any of them against the said buildings and the lot of ground appurtenant thereto for or on account of any work done or materials furnished by them or any of them under said contract or otherwise, for, towards, in, or about the erection and construction of the said buddings on the lot above described, and the said Contractor· for themselves, their subcontractors and others under them hereby expressly waive and relinquish the right to have, file, and maintain any mechanic's liens or claims against the said buildings or any of them· and agree that thi~ instrument, waiuing the right of lien, shall be an independent covenant.
