MOTION FOR CONTINUANCE REQUESTING
THE APPOINTMENT OF A GUARDIAN OF THE PERSON AND
ESTATE PURSUANT TO 20 PA. C.S.A. 5511
1) Your Petitioner is Violeto T. Palmere by his attorney, Robert L. O'Brien,
Esquire. Violeto T. Palmere.
2) Ms. Palmere has been relocated by Violeto Palmere to the Philippines. Prior
to hertravel she met with her court appointed counsel, Grace D'Alo, Esquire, atthe nursing
home where she was residing. Attorney D'Alo reported that Ms. Palmere understood that
she was being relocated to the Philippines and was agreeable to that plan.
3) The Petitioner is currently returning from the Philippines. He will be unable
to attend the hearing scheduled for November 18, 2009 due to his travel. Petitioner
requests that the hearing be continued.
4) Mr. Palmere continues to request his appointment as Guardian ofthe Person
and Estate in order to manage his sister's affairs during her recovery in the Philippines.

WHEREFORE, Petitioner, Robert L. O'Brien, respectfully requests that the Court
continue the scheduled hearing.
