Dear Ms. Strasbaugh:
Enclosed are two copies of form REV-1.500 Inheritance Tax Return with attached
schedules for the Estate of George V. Shoemaker, file number 2008-00935, along with a
check in the amount of $15.00 for the filing fee. This was sent to you originally on
Wednesday, November 25, 2009, by certified mail; however, we inadvertently failed to
enclose the filing fee. The original return with schedules and supporting documentation
attachments was sent directly to the Department of Revenue, certified mail, with a cllecl<
in the amount of 589,410.91 on November 25, 2009. The copy to be filed with your
office includes all schedules filed with the Department of Revenue, but does not include
supporting documentation.
Upon filing please return one time-stamped copy to my office in the enclosed stamped
envelope.
As per Attorney Peter Henninger's conversation with your office, we have enclosed an
additional copy of the return with all supporting documentation for forwarding to the
Department of Revenue. I understand that Revenue may or may not process the tax
payment and if they don't and they send the check to your office that you will process the
tai payment. Furthermore, I understand that you will return the tax return we onginally
forwarded to Revenue if they were to forward that to your offices for processing. 1f this
is not your understanding please advise my office immediately.
