ELEANOR DUNHAM, Defendants COMPLAINT AND NOW COMES the plaintiff, PFISTER & ROMPALO, P.C., by and through its attorney, MICHAEL CHEREWKA, and files the within Complaint, of which the following is a statement: 1). The plaintiff in the within action is Pfister & Rompalo, P.C., of 342 North Front Street, Wormleysburg, Pennsylvania, 17043. 2. The defendants in the within action are: MICHAEL DUNHAM and ELEANOR DUNHAM, 200 Dunham Drive, Hummelstown, Dauphin County, Pennsylvania 17036. 3. Plaintiff is engaged in the business of public accounting and provided professional services to defendants in the preparation and delivery of 2007 and 2008 individual income tax returns. 4. Plaintiff has completed all of the work involved in preparation of defendants' 2007 and 2008 individual income tax returns and delivered both sets of tax returns to defendants. 5. On September 26, 2008, plaintiff sent an Invoice for the 2007 individual tax returns by U. S. Mail, to defendants. A copy of said Invoice is attached hereto, made part hereof and marked Exhibit "A". 3 6. On March 20, 2009, plaintiff sent an Invoice for the 2008 individual tax returns to defendants. A copy of said Invoice is attached hereto, made a part hereof and marked Exhibit "1353. 7. On April 30, 2009 plaintiff sent defendants an Invoice for a Return Check Charge in the amount of $50.00. A copy of said Invoice is attached hereto, made a part hereof and marked Exhibit "C". 8. There have been no claims made by defendants that the services performed were incomplete, or that any of the services performed by plaintiff were defective in any manner. 9. Despite plaintiff's proper completion of the services, delivery of tax returns to defendants, and repeated demands by plaintiff for payment, defendants have failed to pay to plaintiff the balance of payment for the services performed and the return check charge. 10. The amount remaining due to plaintiff for such services, bank fees, late charges and costs is $691.78. WHEREFORE, plaintiff respectfully demands judgment against the defendants, in the sum of $691.78, plus interest, costs of suit and such other relief as this Court deems appropriate.
