NORTON :CUMBERLAND COUNTY, PENNSYLVANIA ORPHANS' COURT DIVISION N0.21-09- QC~ ~'~ PETITION UNDER SECTION 3102 OF THE PROBATE, ESTATES AND FIDUCIARIES CODE FOR SETTLEMENT OF SMALL ESTATE TO THE HONORABLE JUDGES OF SAID COURT: Robert E. Norton, your Petitioner, files this Petition for Settlement of a Small Estate under the provisions of Section 3102 of the Probate, Estates and Fiduciaries Code and in support thereof avers that: (1) Your Petitioner, Robert E. Norton, is a competent adult residing at 1829 Del Norte Drive, SW, Albuquerque, NM 87105, and is the son of the above decedent. (2) Mildred D. Norton, mother of the Petitioner, died on October 1, 2009, at the age of 97 years, but prior thereto lived and was domiciled at 801 North Hanover Street, Carlisle, Pennsylvania, Cumberland County, Pennsylvania. She died with a Will and no Letters Testamentary have been issued. A copy of decedent's Death Certificate is attached hereto as Exhibit "A." (3) Mildred D. Norton had no probate estate when she died other than a bank account with PNC Bank valued at approximately $5,000.00. An online banking statement is attached hereto as Exhibit "B." (4) The sole heirs and next of kin and their relationship to the decedent are as follows: Robert Edward Norton, son (5) Your Petitioner avers that there are no creditors of the decedent and no claims unpaid known to your Petitioner. WHEREFORE, your Petitioner respectfully requests that an Order be made authorizing PNC Bank, N.A. to close all accounts in the name of Mildred D. Norton and issue a check made payable to the Estate of Mildred D.
