Crum, Sr., Executor of the Estate of Horace M. Crum,. Jr. This letter is to accompany the Pennsylvania Inheritance Return (Rev-1500) which is being filed for the estate. The executor is aware of two non probate items which may be taxable but which did not come into his possession or control as executor and are not reported on the return. The first of these was a Traditional IRA account with Interactive Brokers LLC, Two Pickwick Plaza, Greenwich, CT 06830. The account ID no. is tJ437876. The beneficiaries on this account were Lance N. Diehl and Miste M. Diehl. Their address is: 438 Sample Bridge Road, Enola, PA 17025. The financial advisor who handled this account is Joseph Worthy of 2425 Coon Club Road, Westminster, MD 21157, telephone No. 410-751-6923. We also have information that the same individuals may have been beneficiaries on a retirement plan/annuity administered through Central Pennsylvania Teamsters Pension Fund, PO Box 15223, Reading, Pennsylvania 19612-5223. We do not have any more particulars on this account. It may be that these individuals have reported theses transfers to the Pennsylvania Department of Revenue and paid the inheritance tax, but we have no knowledge if they did or did not. Pennsylvania Department of Revenue Bureau of Individual Taxes January 13, 2010 Page 2 Unrelated to the above, I would also like to point out that there is a lawsuit pending against the estate in the Court of Common Pleas of Cumberland County. The decedent's son has sued the Estate claiming the he is entitled to a sum in excess of $35,000.00 based on a marital settlement agreement entered into between the decedent and the plaintiffs mother. The estate is defending this lawsuit, but it may be six months or more before the outcome is known. Obviously, ifthe Plaintiff prevails, a supplemental inheritance tax return will have to be file.
