FINAL DECREE OF DIVORCE
THIS MATTER CAME on to be heard upon the Answer and Cross-Claim to the Complaint for
Divorce having been filed by the Defendant/Cross-Plaintiff, Lori Ann Roop, to which the
Plaintiff/Cross-Defendant never filed an Answer; and
IT APPEARING unto the Court:
1. The parties hereto were lawfully married on May 20, 2000, in Tappahannock, Virginia;
2. That there were no children born or adopted of this marriage;
3. That the Plaintiff/Cross-Defendant is a bona fide resident and bona fide domiciliary of the
Commonwealth of Virginia and has been so continuously for at least six months prior to institution
of this suit;
4. That both parties are over the age of eighteen years and neither is a member of the United
States Armed Forces;
5. That the parties have lived separate and apart, continuously and without interruption, without
any cohabitation, for a period of more than six months, that is from April 9, 2007 to the present, and
the Defendant/Cross-Plaintiff has maintained for that time the intent to permanently terminate the
marital relationship;
6. That the parties have settled all property and support matters, and that settlement is embodied
in this Decree.
7. That the Defendant/Cross-Plaintiff is entitled to a divorce a vinculo matrimonii pursuant to
§20-91(9) of the Code of Virginia;
8. There are no duties to support either party or any minor children, therefore §20-60.3 of the
cash

1950 Code of Virginia, as amended, does not apply.
WHEREFORE, IT IS:
ADJUDGED, ORDERED and DECREED as follows:
1. That the Defendant/Cross-Plaintiff is hereby granted a Final Decree of Divorce, a vinculo
matrimonii, from the Plaintiff/Cross-Defendant pursuant to Virginia Code §20-91(9), based on the
fact that the parties have lived separate and apart, continuously, without any cohabitation and
without interruption for a period of six months; and
2. That the Property Settlement Agreement of the parties dated January 22, 2008, is hereby ratified
and affirmed and is incorporated into, but is not merged into, this Final Decree of Divorce pursuant
to Virginia Code §20-109.1 and the parties are ordered to comply with all provisions thereof.
3. Pursuant to Section 20-121.03 of the 1950 Code of Virginia, as amended, the Plaintiffs social
security number is See Private Addendum, and the Defendant's social security number is (See
Private Addendum).
THIS CAUSE IS FINAL.
