RE: Estate of Charles W. Fealtman
Date of Death: January 18, 2009
File Number: 21-09-0337
Dear Sir or Madam:
We write in response to your letter dated January 25, 2010.
A copy of that letter is enclosed.
Please be advised that this Will was probated for purposes
of following through with a personal injury claim instituted by
the Decedent prior to the Decedent's date of death. The lawsuit
is currently pending in the Cuyahoga County (Ohio) Court of
Common Pleas, Case No. 376610. To date the claim has not been
resolved. Therefore, it is unknown when the administration of
the Estate will be completed.
For your reference, we enclose a copy of Pa. O.C. Rule 6.12
Status Report that we filed in the Cumberland County Register of
Wills Office on October 26, 2009.
We anticipate moving as expeditiously as possible. However,
we will not be able to file a Pennsylvania Inheritance Tax Return
within the time mandate as set forth in your letter. At this
point, we are uncertain as to whether or not Pennsylvania
Inheritance Taxes are due and payable.
