Guardian of the Person and Estate with respect to Lawrence
W. Bitner, an alleged incapacitated person, and following a
hearing held on this date, and the Court finding by clear
and convincing evidence that Lawrence W. Bitner is presently
hospitalized and comatose and that as a consequence his
ability to receive and evaluate information effectively and
communicate decisions is impaired to such a significant
extent that he is totally unable to manage his financial
resources and totally unable to meet essential requirements
for his physical health and safety, and the Court finding
further by clear and convincing evidence that a failure to
appoint an emergency plenary guardian of his person and
estate will result in irreparable harm to him and his
estate, it is ordered and directed as follows:
1. Lawrence W. Bitner is hereby adjudicated an
incapacitated person on an emergency basis;
2. Ann K. Bitner, the alleged incapacitated

person's spouse, who resides at 906 West Walnut Street,
Wormleysburg, Cumberland County, Pennsylvania, 17043, is
appointed emergency plenary guardian of the person and
estate of Lawrence W. Bitner;
3. In accordance with Section 5513 of the
Pennsylvania Probate, Estates, and Fiduciaries Code, this
emergency appointment shall remain in effect for 72 hours,
and Petitioner is notified of her right to file a motion to
extend the emergency order for a further limited period in
accordance with the aforesaid provision; and
4. No bond shall be required of the guardian.
