APPEAL FROM SUSPENSION OF REGISTRATION PRIVILEGES
AND NOW, Petitioner, Ellen M. Coleman respectfully avers as follows:
1. Petitioner, Ellen M. Coleman, resides at 29 East Locust Street, Mechanicsburg, PA 17055.
Petitioner's Pennsylvania Title Number is 59065055
2. PennDOT proposes by Notice dated March 32010 to suspend Petitioner's registration privileges
For a period of 90 days., pursuant to Section l of the Vehicle Code. Effective
April 11, 2010.
3. The withdrawal and suspension of Petitioner's registration privileges is unlawful for the following
Reasons:
A. There was less than a 30 day lapse in insurance coverage.
B. The Defendant did respond to the Department's letter dated January 19'h 2010, by sending a
Signed letter stating the vehicle in question was not driven due to the fact it had mechanical
Problems which were not fixed until February 5`h 2010 and the copy of her current insurance
Card showing there was only a lapse of 20 days from the time her previous insurance expired
And the new insurance took effect. The letter wag sent to The Department of Motor Vehicles,
Po Box 68674, Harrisburg, PA 17106.
WHEREFORE, Petitioner respectfully requests that this Honorable Court allow her to take an
Appeal from the suspension of her registration privileges.
