SOUTHSIDE GIN, INC. and CHRIS POPE Defendants. : IN THE COURT OF COMMON PLEAS : CUMBERLAND COUNTY, PENNSYLVANIA : : CIVIL ACTION - LAW : :NO. 01- /lFq : COMPLAINT NOW COMES Plaintiff Millers Mutual Insurance Company, by and through its attorney, Jesse Raymond Ruhl, and files the within Complaint as follows: Millers Mutual Insurance Company (hereinafter "MMIC") is a mutual insurance company licensed to engage in the business of providing insurance to Pennsylvania residents and businesses with a principal place of business located at 805 North Front Street, Harrisburg, PA 17101. Defendant Southside Gin, Inc. is a corporation with a registered place of business located at 1378 Southampton Parkway, Emporia, VA 23847. Defendant Chris Pope is an adult individual with an address located at 1378 Southampton Parkway, Emporia, VA 23847. MMIC and the Defendants entered into a contract whereby MMIC agreed to provide Defendants with insurance coverage and protection. MMIC full performed its contractual obligations to Defendants and provided insurance from August 1, 1998 through August 1, 1999. The value of the services provided to Defendants was $18,757.00, which Defendants have refused to pay. Defendants breached the terms of their agreement with MMIC by falling to remit the premiums totaling $18.757.00 to MMIC. MMIC has been damaged in the amount of $18,757.00 as a result of the Defendants' breach of the agreement. 2 WHEREFORE Plaimiff Millers Mutual Insurance Company demands judgment in its favor and against Defendants in the mount of $18,757.00, plus interest and costs of suit.
