SUMMERS of the Boro ugh of New Cumberland, Cumberland County, Pennsylvania, being of sound and disposing mind, memory and understanding, do m e, publish and declare this to be my Last Will and Testament, hereby revoking and making void all revious Wills and Codicils heretofore made by me. '~, i ICI FIRST i I order and direct my personal representative hereinafter named to pay, to the e~tent possible out of my residuary estate, all of my just debts, funeral expenses and expenses involved or connected with the administration of my estate, including all estate, inheritance or other death tars (other than generation-skipping taxes) and all interest and penalties thereon imposed, as soon afte my death as reasonably possible. However, my personal representative need not accelerate d pay those unmatured obligations which, in her opinion, it might be proper and more advantageo s to retain or renew and pay as they become due and payable. It is my further desire that upon my de~th, my body will be cremated and any costs will be expended from my estate for this purpose. SUMMERS SECOND It is my request that any pets that I may own at the time of my death shal~ be humanely euthanized as soon after my death as is practicable and the same paid for by~ my personal representative from the assets of my estate. I further direct my personal representative to sell my residence and all appli ces contained therein, either publicly or privately, and to add the proceeds of such sale or sales t my residuary estate to be disposed of as hereinafter provided. i I~~ i i THIRD li I specifically give and bequeath the following property together with all insur~ ce proceeds ~"` thereon as follows: ~I (a) my 2001 Saturn vehicle, my household furnishings, my clothing and hoes to THE SALVATION ARMY FAMILY SERVICES, 1122 Green Street, H 'sburg, PA 17102. In the event that I no longer own the 2001 Saturn at the time of ~ny death, this bequest shall lapse and any replacement vehicle I may have acquired sh 1 instead be added to my residuary estate; (b) my service of "Friendly Village" dishes and silverware to my fri nd, MARIE FETROW; I, (c) my personal computer, television, DVD and VCR machines to my fried, JOAN L. I,II (b) To join in any corporation, partnership, recapitalization, merger, reol ganization or voting trust plan; to delegate authority with respect thereto; to depos t investments under agreements and pay assessments; and generally to exercise all rights of investors, including but not limited to, the voting of shares. I', (c) To manage, operate, repair, improve, mortgage or lease on any terms ~ny real estate held or owned by my estate. ~~, (d) To operate any business that I may own at my death. I~' I (e) To invest any funds of my estate in any stocks, bonds, notes or othe~ securities or property, real or personal, without regard to the principle of diversification or any other statute or general rule of law in her absolute discretion, it being y intention to give my personal representative the broadest investment pow rs possible, providing such investments do not unnecessarily prevent the prompt settlement of my estate. (h) To compromise claims without court approval including, but not l~mited to, any controversies with the United States of America or the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania concerning estate and inheritance taxes on any interests that may pass under this my Last Will and Testament. (i) ~) (k) To distribute in cash or in kind upon any division or distribution of my estate. To undertake any and all acts deemed necessary and proper by my personal representative for the proper, advantageous and prompt manag ment of the settlement of my estate. In general, to exercise all powers in the management of my esta~e which any individual could exercise in the management of similar property own d in his own right, upon such terms and conditions as to her may seem best and t execute and deliver all instruments and to do all acts which she deems necess or proper to carry out the purposes of this, my Last Will and Testament.
