APPLICATION FOR AN EXTENTION OF TIME TO FILE AUDITOR'S REPORT
AND NOW this r?~' day of June, 2010, comes Joseph D. Buckley, Esquire, the Auditor
appointed in the above captioned matter, pursuant to Rule 8.2 of the Rules of the Orphan's Court
and applies for an extension to file his report based on the following:
1. On September 19, 2008 the Honorable J. Wesley Oler, Jr. appointed the undersigned as the
Auditor.
2. On June 16, 2010, the undersigned completed 33 days of hearings covering a period
beginning April 21, 2009 through June 16, 2010.
3. At the close of the hearings Objector Barbara Mumma requested that she be given additional
time in which to file a brief. Ms. Mumma noted that she had to review thousands of pages of
testimony.
4. The hearings have generated thirty-three (33) volumes of the Notes of Testimony in this
matter total nearly 6,000 pages and the accompanying Exhibits total in the thousands of
pages.
5. At the close of hearing the parties present agreed that a sixty day period following receipt of
the final volumes of transcripts would be sufficient for each to file a brief in support of his
or her, or their positions.
6. The undersigned would request that he be given thirty (30) days following receipt of the
briefs from the parties to file his final report in this matter.
