YOU HAVE BEEN SUED IN COURT. If you wish to defend against the claims set
forth in the following pages, you must take prompt action. You are warned that if you fail to do
so, the case may proceed without you and a decree of divorce or annulment may he entered
against you by the Court. A judgment may also be entered against you for any other claim or
relief requested in these papers by the Plaintiff. You may lose money or property or other rights
important to you, including custody or visitation of your children.
When the ground for the divorce is indignities or irretrievable breakdown of the marriage,
you may request marriage counseling. A list of the marriage counselors is available in the office
of the Prothonotary, Cumberland County Courthouse, Carlisle, Pennsylvania.

COMPLAINT IN DIVORCE
NOW COMES the Plaintiff, Jose Luis Ramos, Jr., by and through his attorney,
Gwendolyn S. Hailey, Esquire, bringing this Complaint in Divorce and in Support thereof avers
the following:
1. Plaintiff is Jose Luis Ramos, Jr., an adult individual currently residing at 5942 Congress
Court, Columbus, Georgia 31909-4461.
2. Defendant is Dora Ramos, an adult residing at 8 North Regency Wood, Carlisle,
Cumberland County, Pennsylvania 17013.
3. The Defendant has been a bona fide resident in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania for at
least six months immediately previous to the filing of this Complaint.
4. The Plaintiff and Defendant are husband and wife and were lawfully married on June 21,
2003 in Cumberland County, Pennsylvania, the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
5. On or about March 16, 2004, the Plaintiff separated from Defendant and vacated the
matrimonial cohabitation with the Defendant.
6. There has been no prior action for divorce or annulment instituted by either of the parties
in this or any other jurisdiction.
7. The Plaintiff and Defendant are not members of the Armed Services of the United States
or any of its allies.
8. The marriage is irretrievable broken.
9. Plaintiff has been advised that counseling is available and that Plaintiff may have the
right to request that the court require the parties to participate in counseling.
10. Plaintiff and Defendant have two children: Jessica Ramos and Diana Ramos. Custody
and Visitation issues will be addressed by a Separate Custody and Visitation Order.

REQUEST FOR A NO-FAULT DIVORCE
UNDER SECTION 3301(C) OF THE DIVORCE CODE
11. The prior paragraphs of this Complaint are incorporated herein by reference thereto.
12. After ninety 90 days have elapsed from the date of the filing of this Complaint, Plaintiff
intends to file an affidavit consenting to a divorce. Plaintiff believes that Defendant may
also file such an affidavit.
WHEREFORE, if both parties file affidavits consenting to a divorce after ninety days
(90) days have elapsed from the filing of this Complaint; Plaintiff respectfully request this
Honorable Court to enter a Decree of Divorce, Pursuant to Section 3301(c) of the Divorce Code.

REQUEST FOR A NO-FAULT DIVORCE
UNDER SECTION 3301(d) OF THE DIVORCE CODE
13. The PRIOR PARAGRAPHS OF THIS complaint are incorporated herein by reference
thereto.
14. At the appropriate time, Plaintiff may submit an affidvit alleging that the parties have
lived separate and apart for at least two (2) years.
WHEREFORE, Plaintiff respectfully request this Honorable Court to enter a Decree of
Divorce, pursuant to Section 3301(d) of the Divorce code, at the appropriate time.
