HomeMy WebLinkAbout08-03-10 IN RE: ESTATE OF JEANNETTE ; IN THE COURT OF COMMON PLEAS R BROWN, DECEASED :CUMBERLAND COUNTY, PENNSYLVANIA ORPHANS' COURT DMSION No. 2010-00376 DISCLAIMER Jeannette R Brown, died on March 20, 2010, leaving a Will dated December 16, 2006. The~Will was probated on Apri18, 2010 and Letters Testamentary were granted to Barbara J. Leonard, the decedent's daughter. The Will provided for the bequest of the entire residuary estate, real and personal to the Jeannette R. Brown Living Trust dated December 15, 2006. The Trust was revised by Amendment to Revocable Trust dated November 20, 2009. The Amendment, provided in part: A. 1. The Settlor gives and bequeaths 1,000 shares of PNC Bank stock, or its cash equivalent at the date of her death, to her son, Jeffrey Brown, if he survives her. B. The Settlor gives the Settlor's Residuary Trust Fund, which shall be the amount of assets remaining after the distribution (if necessary)• of the gifts listed above, to the Settlor's descendants who survive the Settlor, per stirpes. I, Jeffrey Brown ,hereby disclaim the specific bequest of 1,000 shares of PNC Bank stock, or its cash equivalent and my 50% interest in the residuary estate, and as a result, the 1,000.shares of PNC Bank stock, or its cash equivalent, and 50% residuary shall pass to my son, Keaton Brown . IN WITNESS WHEREOF, and intending to be legally bound hereby, and intending that this Disclaimer shall be filed of record in the Office of the Clerk of the Orphans' Court Division of the Court of Common Pleas of Cumberland County, Pennsylvania, as provided in 20 Pa.C.S.
