AND NOW, this !y day of ra~c~ , 2010, upon consideration of the
foregoing application and on the motion of Philip H. Spare, Esquire, Attorney for the Big
Spring School District, the request of the foregoing application is granted and the persons
listed below are hereby appointed School Police Officers for the Big Spring School
District for the year ending June 30, 2009, pursuant to the Public School Code of 1949, as
amended, Section 778 (24 P.S. 7-778) upon compliance with the other requirements of
the aforesaid Act. The following persons shall have the authority to enforce good order
in school buildings, on school buses and on school grounds:

Further, the following members of the Newville Borough Police Department are
appointed as school police officers for the Big Spring School District for the year ending
June 30, 2010 with the power to exercise same powers as are now or may be hereafter
exercised under the authority of law or ordinance by the police in the municipality
wherein the School District property is located.
