In response to your letter of August 26, 2010, I understand that you are requesting
a refund of $220 on the above estate. The fees that we charge are audited, both by the
State and the County, based on the value stated on the Petition for Probate and Grant of
Letters. Before a refund could be approved, an amended petition would need to be filed
stating the correct value of the probate assets.
