The Borough of Carlisle, Cumberland County, Pennsylwania, hereby files its claim against
Harold Criswell and all that certain improved lot or piece of ground situated in the Borough of
Carlisle, Cumberland County, Pennsylvania, being known as 7:29 Franklin Street. (See property
description attached). Defendant acquired ownership under will[ of Lewis C. Criswell probated in
Cumberland County Will Book 62, Page 895:
Removal of accumulations of garbage, rubbish
and abandoned automobiles: $5,562.18
Ten percent penalty (10%): $556.22
Attorney's fees $90.00
TOTAL $6,208.40
Together with interest sec. leg. from October 26, 2000, the date
of completion of the removal.
Prior notice in accordance with law was served on the owner at the above address by certified
mail and by posting the property on September 18 and October 19, 2000, and January 29, 2001. The
said removal services were provided by the Borough of Carlisle and the charge levied therefor in
strict accordance with Article XII of the Borough Code, Act of February 1, 1966, P.L. 1655 (1965),
No. 581, Section 1202 (5), as amended, 53 P.S. Sections 46202 (5), as amended, Chapters 120 & 183
of the Code of the Borough of Carlisle.
