LAST WILL AND TESTAMENT OF E. RALSTON GUYER
I, E. Ralston Guyer, of the Borough of Mechanicsburg, County
of Cumberland and State of Pennsylvania, being of sound and dispos-
ing mind, memory and understanding, do make, publish and declare
this to be my last will and testament, hereby revoking and making
void all former wills by me at any time heretofore made.
l.
I direct the payment of all my just debts and funeral expenses
as soon as conveniently may be after my decease.
2.
All the rest, residue and remainder of my estate, real, per-
sonal and mixed, whatsoever and wheresoever situate, I give, devise
and bequeath to my beloved wife, Elizabeth D. Guyer, to her own use
and benefit absolutely.
3.
In the event, however, that my said wife should predecease
me, or as the result of a disaster common to both of us should die
at about the same time as I do, I give, devise and bequeath my es-
tate to my daughter, Julie A. Kramer.
4.
Lastly, I nominate, constitute and appoint my said wife,
Elizabeth D. Guyer, to be the executrix of this my last will and tes-
tament. If she should predecease me, or for any other reason fail
to qualify as such executrix, then I nominate, constitute and appoint
my daughter, Julie A. Kramer, to be the executrix in her place and
stead.

[72 P.S.~ 9916 (a) (1.1)(i)].
For dates of death on or after January 1. 1995, the tax rate imposed on the net value of transfers to or for the use of the surviving spouse is 0% [72 P.S. ~ 9116 (a) (1.1) (ii)]
The statute does not exempt a transfer to a surviving spouse from tax, and the statutory requirements for disclosure of assets and filing a tax retum are still applicable even if
the surviving spouse is the only beneficiary.
For dates of death on or after July 1, 2000:
The tax rate imposed on the net value of transfers from a deceased child twenty-one years of age or younger at death to orforthe use of a natural parent. an adoptive parent,
or a stepparent of the child is 0% [72 P.S. ~ 9116(a)(1.2)].
The tax rate imposed on the net value of transfers to orforthe use of the decedent's lineal benefidaries is 4.5%. except as noted in 72 P.S. ~ 9116(1.2) [72 P.S. ~9116(a){1)].
The tax rate imposed on the net value of transfers to or for the use of the decedent's siblings is 12% (72 P,S. f3 9116{a)(1.3)]. A sibling is defined, under Section 9102, as an
mdividual who has at least one parent in common with the decedent, whether by blood or adoption.

I, E. Ralston Guyer, of the Borough of Mechanicsburg, County
of Cumberland and State of Pennsylvania, being of sound and dispos-
ing mind, memory and understanding, do make, publish and declare
this to be my last will and testament, hereby revoking and making
void all former wills by me at any time heretofore made.

I direct the payment of all my just debts and funeral expenses
as soon as convenien tly may be after my decease.
2 .
All the rest, residue and remainder of my estate, real, per-
sonal and mixed, whatsoever and wheresoever situate, I give, devise
and bequeath to my beloved wife, Elizabeth D. Guyer, to her own use
and benefit absOlutely.
3.
In the event, however, that my said wife should predecease
me, or as the result of a disaster cornmon to both of us should die
at about the same time as I do, I give, devise and bequeath my es-
tate to my daughter, Julie A. Kramer.
4.
Lastly, I nominate, constitute and appoint my said wife,
Elizabeth D. Guyer, to be the executrix of this my last will and tes-
tament. If she should predecease me, or for any other reason fail
to qualify as such executrix, then I nominate, constitute and appoint
my daughter, Julie A. Kramer, to be the executrix in her place and
stead.
