PETITION REGARDING SERVICE OF NOTICE UPON RONALD CF
AND
REQUESTING INSTRUCTIONS FOR PAYMENT TO MISSING ~
Betty M. Brubaker, Administratrx of the Estate of Paul Dillman, hereby r~uests
instructions from the Court regarding notice to, and payment to, a missing inte~ta~e heir,
Ronald Crawford, son of Mary Jane Crawford, sister of the deceased, and state's ~ support of
her Petition as follows:
1. Paul Dillman died November 8, 2008 without leaving a Will.
2. Letters of Administration were granted to Betty M. Brubaker, sijste~r of the
deceased, on November 14, 2008.
3. Notice of Beneficial Interest was given to all heirs except Ronald ~rawford on
February 4, 2009 and certification of this Notice was duly filed February 5, 2(~}.
4. Advertisements of the Grant of Letters of Administration appea#~ec~ ~n the
Cumberland County Law Journal on February 13, February 20, and February,'2'~, 2009 and
The Patriot-News on February 18, February 25, and March 4, 2009.
5. Ronald Crawford is a one-tenth heir, entitled to one-half of the i
mother, Mary Jane Crawford, a deceased sister of the Deceased or $3,177, as
Account and the Statement of Proposed Distribution.

6, Joseph A. Magaro, the only other living issue of Mary Jane Cravvfc~rd, sister of

the deceased, would be entitled to the entire one-fifth of the Estate if Ronald Cr~v~fdrd is
deceased. ~~
7. Efforts have been made since the death of Paul Dillman to locate, R~nald
Crawford, child of Mary Jane Crawford, deceased sister of the Decedent, as fo~lo~!s:

A. Joseph Magaro, half brother of Ronald Crawford, who his ~ad no
contact with his half brother for many years, went to the last known address ofhi~ half t
on 2'~ Street, Harrisburg, Dauphin County, Pennsylvania, and was unable to ol~ta~n any
information about Ronald Crawford's whereabouts.
B. No other member of the extended family knows where Rjon~ld Crawfor
is living. j'
C. It is believed that Ronald Crawford may have a wife in (~e~many and tb
he may be residing with her in Germany but no one knows in what city. ~;
D. It is unknown whether or not Ronald Crawford is alive dr deceased.
E. Efforts to contact listed "Crawfords" in the Harrisburg ~el~phone
directory were unsuccessful in locating the Ronald Crawford entitled to moneyf from this
Estate. ~
F. Because of the common name, it is believed that efforts ~o ~se Internet
white pages would not be successful.
8. No formal notice regazding this Estate has ever been given to I~o~ald Crawfor
because of the inability of the Administratrix to locate this heir. j

9. Pursuant to Supreme Court Orphans' Court Rule 5.1(d), the Adrn~inhstratrix
seeks direction from the Court as to how the notice of filing of the First and Fi~al'!Account anc
the Statement of Proposed Distribution shall be given to Ronald Crawford.
10. No local Orphans' Court rule is applicable to this situation.
11. It is believed that further notice in The Patriot-News will be of n~O ~se and will
merely add to administrative expenses.
12. Further, the Administratrix seeks instructions as to disposition o~ tl~e money to
which Ronald Crawford is entitled.
WHEREFORE, the Administratrix requests that this Honorable Court
duetting that notice to Ronald Crawford of the filing of the First and Final
Statement of Proposed Distribution be given by advertisement one time in the ~u
County Law Journal. Further, it is requested that this Honorable Court order ~~
the Estate to which Ronald Crawford is entitled be held in the escrow account ~f
Wallet, Esquire, for one year from the date of the Court's Order. In the event)tb
cannot be delivered to Ronald Crawford within that time, this shaze shall be rekii:
