On November 6, 2007 Judge M. L. Ebert appointed the Cumberland Coufi Q1Ffice of
Aging the emergency temporary Guardian of the Person and Estate of Li Schell.
She is also known as Rosemary Schell, Rosemary Sanchez, and Lieselo~tel hubb.
Following the hearing, Ms. Schell was transported from the Carlisle Regiarn I,Center to
the Shippensburg Health Care Center where she was admitted. On DecQm r 5, 2007,
the Cumberland County Office of Aging was appointed Permanent Guardia pf the
Person and Estate.
At that time of the emergency guardianship, Ms. Schell had a checking act nt at
Onstown Bank with a balance of $3071.17. When she was in the hospitall, gaff found
$1490 on her person which they transferred with her when she was adm' !to the
nursing home. This money was tamed over to the Office of Aging and wed ~osited
this money into her account.
Beginning in January 2008, the Office of Aging opened a guardianship a Iuht at
Orrstown for Rosemary. We requested her social security check be deposit into this
new account. When that started the funds from her personal account were t~nsferred
over to the new account and the okl account was closed.
The balance at the date of the previous annual report was $5416.34 Her rln r~thly
income included $873 Social Security and $90 from the Veterans Administr tion. The
monthly expenses included $728 to Shippensburg Health Care Center for! r and
board and $100 to Cumberland County Aging and Community Services fdr
Guardianship Fee as approved by the court. The funeral had been pre-aria ed so
there were no additional expenses. The balance in the account at the tim+~ f her death
was $5729.14.

Notifications. of her death were made to the Social Security Office, the Veterans
Administration and the County Assistance Office.
Attached is the financial summary of Rosemary Schall's income and expensas. Also
attached is a spread sheet representing the checking account register.
