WHE[',EAS, an agreement was entered into between W. Lee Poland..
"CONTRAC'F)R", and Samuel Fang, "OWNER#. Whereby the said contracb3r
undertook al id agreed to perform certain work necessary to erect a building on
the real esta ~ of the owners situate at Lot 24, Witney Ridge, Nechanicsburg~ PA
17055.
NOW, THEREFORE, THIS AGREElflENT WiTNESSETH, That the said
Contractor fc,r and in consideration of the sum of One ($1.00) Dollar to him in
hand paid bi the said owners, the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged, and
further consideration as agreed upon, for him, his sub-contractors and all parties
acting throu~. Ih or under him, covenants and agrees that no mechanics' lien or
liens shall b~ filed or maintained by him, or any of them, against the said
building of t~ e owners situated as above stated, and the plot of ground
al~purtenant thereto, for or on account of any work done or materials furnished
by him, or ar;y of them, under the said contract or otherwise, for, towal~ls~ in or
about the sa d construction and work at the building of the owners, and the said
contractor fo' himself and his sub-contractors, and others under him, hereby
expressly wa yes and relinquishes the right to have, file or maintain any
mechanics' ii ;n or claim against the said building and the plot of ground, and
agrees that t ~is agreement waiving the rights of lien shall be an independent
contractor.
