McCorkel your Petitioner, files this Petition for Settlement of a Small Estate under the provisions of Section 3102 of the Probate, Estates and Fiduciaries Code. aped in support thereof avers that: ~~ ~"! {Tl ~~:., ~ ~_ ~ Cy `:' ~- c-~ (1) Your Petitioner, Sandra L. McCorkel is a competent adult residing i~t 675 Valley View Drive, Boiling Springs, Pennsylvania 17007, and is the datiighlter of the above decedent. (2) Joyce L. Swope, died on January 15, 2011 at the age of 80 years, but prior thereto was a resident of the Sarah A. Todd Nursing Home in Cazlisle, Penrlsy~vania and was last domiciled at 675 Valley View Drive Boiling Springs, Ren~sylvania, Cumberland County, Pennsylvania. A copy of Decedent's Death Certificate is attached hereto as Exhibit "A." (3) Joyce L. Swope died with a Will. No Letters have been issued. (4) The Decedent was predeceased by her husband, Richazd L. Swope, ~ and was not remarried. (5) Joyce L. Swope had no probate estate when she died other than the followring: Bank account with Adams County National Bank with an approximate balance of $4,821.00. (6) The sole heirs and relationship to the Decedent are as follows: Sandra L. McCorkel, Daughter Gregory R. Swope, Son John D. Swope, Son ~'` (7) Your Petitioner avers that there are no creditors of the decedent and, other than a final nursing home bill to be paid from the proceeds of the bank account, there are no claims unpaid known to your Petitioner. (8) Your Petitioner believes, and therefore avers, that the Decedent's estate is insolvent and no Pennsylvania inheritance tax will be due on the property awarded under this Petition. WHEREFORE, your Petitioner respectfully requests that an Order be made authorizing Sandra L. McCorkel to act as Fiduciary and to close out the account at Adams Cojunty National Bank, pursuant to Section 3102 of the Probate, Estates and Fiduciaries Code. By ,~,, Dougl G.
