Mrs. Stasbaugh,
I am writing to confirm that the woman listed in my father's will (John V Shoemaker III) as Donna
Hoffman is indeed Donna Kauffman. She has been a member of my family for nearly twenty-five years,
much more so than my biological brother, (John V Shoemaker IV). I am no more certain of how we
missed this error than she is, but it is spelled wrong in the will now before the court. I am willing to
attest to the fact that not only is her name misspelled, but the grandson she gave my father is also NOT
John V Shoemaker V, his name is Jesse Shoemaker. My father did not want to leave my brother John
any money because he had stolen from Dad so much throughout his life in so many different ways, but
he also did not want his clever son reason to come up with an excuse to call the will into question, so he
left him a thousand dollars.
Furthermore, you should also know that Donna Kauffman does not live with my brother, and
anything sent to her in the future should be addressed strictly to her. My brother is a professional thief,
and he will do anything he canto get to both her inheritance, and his oldest son's. I personally think it
should be handed to her directly for her own sake. My brother has lived in her home for nearly twenty-
five years without paying her a dime, even though she has attempted to make him leave many times.
The apartment is hers, the lease is in her name, and even though he has probably more money coming
in monthly, he does not help her with the household expenses one bit. Please let this letter serve in her
honor as proof that she is who she says she is. She cannot afford an attorney, but she was dearly loved
by my father, and should not be forced to wait any longer for what he wanted her to have, certainly not
due to another mistake made by the executor and his attorney. Thank you. Sincerely,
Dianne K Liberator
