Your Honor,
I humbly petition the court to correct the spelling of my birthplace as listed on
my Marriage License Record State Of Pennsylvania County Of Cumberland. My
birthplace is Huntingdon, PA. It is incorrectly spelled Huntington on the record.
I thoroughly examined the document and believed the spelling was correct at
the time. Upon reviewing my papers today, I see that I had a mental. block; the t is
supposed to be a d. I am preparing to have some important papers drawn which require
proof of my name change. it is now that I see clearly that the town is misspelled. Being
that this is a legal document I feel the need to have the information corrected.
I realize it is only one letter however, that letter states that I was born in a
completely different town across the state. I was born in HUNTINGDON, PA not
Huntington, PA. I am sorry for my error in this matter.
I ask for your grace and prompt attention in this matter.
