I, HALFRED W. WERTZ, of the Township of Silver Spring
(mailing address: 28 DeWalt Drive, Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania
17055), Cumberland County, Pennsylvania, declare this to be my
Last Will and revoke any Will previously made by me.
Item 1:
I devise and bequeath all of my estate of every
nature and wheresoever situate, together with insurance thereon,

lito my wife, RUTH T. WERTZ, also known as RUTH P. WERTZ, providing

IShe shall survive me by thirty (30) days.
I Item 2: Should my wife, RUTH T. WERTZ, also known as RUTH P.
!WERTZ, predecease me or die on or before the thirtieth (30th)day
I following my death, I devise and bequeath all of my estate, where-
soever situate, as follows:
(A) I give and bequeath an undivided one-third (1/3)
interest in my residence and lot of ground known as
28 DeWalt Drive, Township of Silver Spring, Cumberland
County, Pennsylvania, to my son, HALFRED W. WERTZ, II.
My purpose for making this bequest is that my son
HALFRED W. WERTZ, II paid one-third (1/3) of the pur-
chase price of my residence and also has assisted with
the cost of maintaining our residence over the years.
(B) I give and bequeath the sum of Two Thousand ($2,000.00)
Dollars to my son, HALFRED W. WERTZ, II, of 28 DeWalt
Drive, Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania 17055.

Church, Ho11idaysburg, Blair County, Pennsylvania 16648.
(E) I give and bequeath the sum of One Thousand ($1,000.00)
Dollars to my step-granddaughter, HEATHER CAMPBELL, of
468 Inverary, Villanova, Pennsylvania 19085.
(F) I give and bequeath the sum of One Thousand ($1,000.00)
Dollars to my step-grandson, DOUGLAS CAMPBELL, of USS
Dubuque, LPD-8, FPO, San Francisco, California 96663-
1711.
(G) I give and bequeath the sum of One Thousand ($1,000.00)
Dollars to the Endowment Fund of Messiah Village
Retirement Center, Grantham, Cumberland County, Pennsyl-
vania.
(H) I give and bequeath the sum of One Thousand ($1,000.00)
Dollars to the Scholarship Fund of Juniata College,
Huntingdon, Huntingdon County, Pennsylvania.
(I) Should the net value of my estate, available for dis-
tribution, be reduced to a sum less than Twenty-Five
Thousand ($25,000.00) Dollars, then all the bequests,
noted in this Item (B) thru (H), shall be reduced by
Fifty (50%) Percent. Provided, that the bequeath,
reflected in Paragraph (A) of this Item, shall not be
reduced in any manner and the bequeath shall remain at
one-third (1/3) interest in my said residence and lot of
ground.

Item 3: I direct that the remainder of my estate be divided
into five (5) equal shares: one (1) share shall be given to each
, of my three (3) children, namely: NANCY D. CAMPBELL, of 468
i Inverary, Villanova, Pennsylvania 19085; MARY LOU OAKES, of Musket
I Drive, Salisbury, Maryland 21801; and HALFRED W. WERTZ, II, of 28

I DeWalt Drive, Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania 17055; and one (1)
\ share each to my grandch ildren, BRIAN ALEXANDER OAKES, of Musket
I Drive, Salisbury, Maryland 21801, and LAURA A~N OAKES, of Box 3319
I James Madison University, Harrisonburg, Virginia 22807. These
bequests are conditioned upon the beneficiaries surviving me by a
period of ninety (90) days, but should any of the said five (5)
persons fail to survive me by a period of ninety (90) days, then
I
the share of such deceased person shall pass to such of his or her
lssue as shall survive me by a period of ninety (90) days, per
stirpes, and if no such issue shall survive, then the same shall
lapse and be added to other shares, described in this Item, per
I stirpes.
Item 4: Should any person less than twenty-one (21) years
of age be entitled to distribution from my Estate, in such event

i! guardians of the estate of such person and authorize and direct

II them as such guardians to receive and to invest the same and to
II pay the income arising therefrom together with so much of the

11 principal thereof as in the opinion of such guardians is necessary
11 or desirable to be expending for the proper maintenance, support

I and education of such person, to or fore the benefit of such
I person, and upon such person attaining twenty-one (21) years of

! age to pay to him or her the then remaining principal together
with any undistributed income. Should such person not have living
parents or should such parents become deceased, I then nominate,
I
I constitute and appoint as successor guardian of the estate of
such person The First Bank and Trust Company of Mechanicsburg,
and its successors, Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania.
Item 5: I appoint my wife, RUTH T. WERTZ, also known as
RUTH P.WERTZ, Executrix of this my Last Will. Should my wife,
RUTH T. WERTZ, also known as RUTH P. WERTZ, fail to qualify or
cease to act as Executrix, I appoint my two (2) children, NANCY D.
CAMPBELL, of 468 Inverary, Villanova, Pennsylvania; and HALFRED W.
WERTZ, II, of 28 DeWalt Drive, Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania,
Co-Executors of this my Last Will.
Item 6: I direct that my personal representative or their
guardians or their successors shall not be required to give bond
for the faithful performance of their duties in any jurisdiction.

Any party in interest not satisfied with the appraisement, allowance, or disallowance of deductions, or assessment

DISCOUNT:
If any tax due is paid within three (3) calendar months after the decedent's death, a five percent (5%) discount of
the tax paid is allowed.
PENALTY:
The 15% tax amnesty non-participation penalty is computed on the total of the tax and interest assessed, and not
paid before January 18, 1996, the first day after the end of the tax amnesty period. This non-participation
penalty is appealable in the same manner and in the the same time period as you would appeal the tax and interest
that has been assessed as indicated on this notice.
INTEREST:
Interest is charged beginning with first day of delinquency, or nine (9) months and one (1) day from the date of
death, to the date of payment. Taxes which became delinquent before January 1, 1982 bear interest at the rate of
six (6%) percent per annum calculated at a daily rate of .000164. All taxes which became delinquent on and after
January 1, 1982 will bear interest at a rate which will vary from calendar year to calendar year with that rate
announced by the PA Department of Revenue. The applicable interest rates for 1982 through 2002 are:
