PRELIMINARY ORDER
AND NOW, this ~~~ day of ~ , 2011, upon review of
the Petition for Appointment of an Emergency Guazdian of the Person and Guazdian of the
Estate for Delores Thumma, the following are hereby ORDERED AND DECREED:
1. The Clerk of Orphans' Court shall issue a citation upon the above-captioned alleged
incapacitated person to show cause why an emergency plenary guazdian of the person
and estate should not be appointed.
2. A hearing on the request for an emergency guazdian is hereby scheduled for the

d. The contents and terms of the Petition and the attached notice shall be explained
to the maximum extent possible to the alleged incapacitated person.
4. Due to time constraints of the emergency petition and pursuant to 20 Pa.C.5. § 5513, the
Court finds that the following provisions of 20 Pa.C.S. § 5511 are not feasible under the
circumstances, and are hereby waived:
a. Representation by counsel.
b. Service 20 days prior to the hearing.
