WHEREAS, Pennsylvania School Boards Association, of 774 Limekiln Road, New Cumberland,
Pennsylvania 17070, is about to enter into a contract with R. S. Mowery & Sons, Inc., of
Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania, for the construction of a New Headquarters Office located at 400 Bent
Creek Boulevard (Lot//13 of the Bent Creek Subdivision), Silver Spring Township, Mechanicsburg,
Cumberland County, Pennsylvania.
NOW, June 14, 2004, at the time of and immediately before the execution of the principal
contract, and before any authority has been given by the said Pennsylvania School Boards
Association, to the said R. S. Mowery & Sons, Inc., to commence work on the said building, or
purchase materials for the same in consideration of the making of the said contract with R. S.
Mowery & Sons, inc., and the further consideration of One Dollar to R. S. Mowery & Sons, inc., paid
by Pennsylvania School Boards Association, it is agreed that no lien shall be filed against the building
or property by the contractor, nor any subcontractor, nor by any of the material men or workmen
nor any other person for any labor, or materials purchased, or extra labor or materials purchased for
the completion of said building, the right to file such liens being expressly waived.
