NOW THIS AGRI~I~MENT WITNE88ETH: That Contractor for and m consideration of the awarding to him b~
Owner of said contract as a foreenid, as well es the fu~her consideration of One ($1.00) Delinr to him paid et or before the
enecesing and del~ver~ of these presents, the reec~pt whereof ~s hereb~ acknowledged, does hereb~ covenant, proreme
and agree that no mechanics' lien or elesm or other lien or claim of any kind whatsoever shall be filed against the said
building or buildings or the curtilage or curtilages appurtenant thereto, b~ Contrnetor or b~ any sub-contractor,
reateriesmen or laborers for work done or materiels furnished under said contrast for and about said building or
buildings or any part thereof, or on credit thereof, and that all sub-~ontractore, materiesreen, and inborere on said work
shall look to and hold Contractor pereounli~ liable for all sub-contruets, mate~es~ furnished and work and labor dune,
so that there shall not be any legeS or lawful cluim of any kind whatever against Owner for any work done or labor or
materials furnished under said contretet fur and about the erectien, construction and completion of~dd buildings as
aforesaid, or under an~ contrnets for extra work, or for work supplemental thereto, or otherwise
AND, in order to give the Owner full power and authorit~ to protect himself and the lot or lots of ground against any
and ali claims filed b~ the Contractor or anyone acting under or through him or it in violation of the foregoing covenant,
the said Contractor for himself, themselves, itself, hereb~ irreveeabl~ authorizes and empowers uny Atterne~ of any
Court of Common Piexe of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, to appear for him, them, it, or any of them, in sn~y of the
said Courts of Common Plene as Attorney for him, thent or it and in his, their, its. name, mark satisfied of record at the
cost and expense of the Contractor or of any Sub. Contractor or Metsrinlman. or Matsriesmen, any and '~li claims or
elesm, llen or liens, flied b~ or for the Contractor, er an~ fiub-Contraetor or Materialman, or in his or their name agesnst
said building or buildings, lot or lots of ground ar any part thereof and for such act or acta this shall be good and
sufficient warrant and authority, and a reference to the Court, Term and Number in whleh and where ~ Asroement
shall have been flied shall be a suffielen~ exhibit of the authority herein contained to warrant such action, and the
Contractor far himself, themselves, itself, do hereby remiss, release and quit-claim all rights and all manner of errors,
defects end imperfee, tions whatsoever in entering such satisfaction or in anywise touching or concerning the saree.
