MUNICIPAL LIEN FOR SERVICES AND SEWER RATES
AND NOW, comes Monroe Township Municipal Authority, of 1220
Boiling Springs Road, Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania, by and through
its Solicitor, James D. Bogar, Esquire and files the following
municipal claim against Michael J. Doherty and Tracey E. Doherty,
husband and wife, adult individuals, owning property located at
1331 Church Street, Carlisle, Monroe Township, Cumberland County,
Pennsylvania, 17015, their last known mailing address being: 1331
Church Street, Carlisle, Cumberland County, Pennsylvania, 17015.
Michael J. Doherty and Tracey E. Doherty are the owners of all
that certain lot of ground, including any improvements thereon,
being more fully described as follows:
ALL THAT CERTAIN tract of land situate in Monroe Township,
Cumberland County, Pennsylvania, bounded and described as
follows:
BEGINNING at a pin located on the public road leading from
Churchtown to Boiling Springs; THENCE by lands now or
formerly of Mildred Sheaffer, South 59 degrees 5 minutes
East, 80 feet to a pin; THENCE along lands now or formerly
of Blain L. Wickard, et ux, Sough 42 degrees 5 minutes West,
60 feet to a pin; THENCE by land now or formerly of same,
North 59 degrees 5 minutes West, 114 feet to a point in the

center line of the public road leading from Churchtown to
Boiling Springs; THENCE along the center line of said public
road, North 63 degrees 30 minutes East, 44.10 feet to a
point in the center of said public road; THENCE South 25
degrees East 165.5 feet to an iron pin on the Southern
boundary of the said public road leading from Churchtown to
Boiling Springs; THENCE North 43 degrees 30 minutes East
34.4 feet to an iron pin located in the same public road
leading from Churchtown to Boiling Springs and being the
place of BEGINNING.
CONTAINING .13 acre, more or less.
BEING known and numbered as 1331 Church Street, Carlisle,
Pennsylvania.
BEING THE SAME PREMISES WHICH Robert L. Clair, an adult
individual, by Deed dated June 5, 2009, and recorded June
26, 2009, in the office of the Recorder of Deeds in and for
Cumberland County, Pennsylvania, at Instrument Number
200921757, granted and conveyed unto Michael J. Doherty and
Tracey E. Doherty, husband and wife.
Tax Parcel No. 22-28-2401-095.
Monroe Township Municipality Authority hereby files
this Municipal Lien for Services and Sewer Rates levied and
assessed from June 1, 2010 through and including March 31,
2011. Said Authority services and sewer rates were levied
and assessed pursuant to Authority Resolution No. 02-04,
same being known as a Resolution of the Board of Monroe
Township Municipal Authority imposing user charges to be
collected from the owner of each improved property served or
to be served by this Authority's sewer systems; and
providing for payment and collection of such user charges.

Attached hereto and incorporated herein are the statements
forwarded by Monroe Township Municipal Authority to Michael
J. Doherty and Tracey E.Doherty for sewerage due to be
treated from June 1, 2010 through March 31, 2011, which
services total is in the amount of $1,215.50, which sum was
duly assessed against Michael J. Doherty and Tracey E.
Doherty, and the real property described herein from the
date of said billing statements as attached hereto, and for
which sum, with interest in the amount of ten (10%) percent,
along with penalties and all costs, including attorneys'
fees, a municipal lien is claimed against the above-
described real property and premises in accordance with the
Act of May 16, 1923, P.L. 207, §7, as amended, 53 P.S.
§7101, et seq, as amended (Municipal Claims and Tax Liens).

Dear Mr. Doherty:
I am contacting you on behalf of Monroe Township relative to your sewer
account #1040. This account is delinquent. As of the last billing notice, same being
dated February 15, 2011, the delinquency is in the amount of $1,215.50. The purpose
of this letter is to request that this account be brought current. If the account is not
brought current within thirty (30) days of receipt of this letter, a Municipal Lien will be
placed against real estate owned by you, same being known and numbered as 1331
Church Street, Carlisle, PA. This will result in filing fees, service costs, and attomey's
fees. Attorney's fees that are incurred with respect to the collection of this delinquent
account will be assessed. Attorney's fees will be charged at the current rate. Attorney's
fees will be imposed and/or assessed if this amount remains delinquent after thirty (30)
days from the mailing of this notice. The imposition of assessment of attorney's fees
may be avoided by you making payment in full of the delinquency within thirty (30) days
of receipt of this letter as set forth herein.
