1. Petitioner is H. Richard Cline, the Executor of the Last Will and Testament of
Vaunlee E. Cline, deceased, having his address at 423 McKinley Avenue, Libertyville, IL 60048.
2. Letters Testamentary in the Estate of Vaunlee E. Cline were issued by the
Register of Wills of Cumberland County to Petitioner to file number 21-0&1225, which letters
remain in full force and effect.
3. Among the. assets owned by Vaunlee E. Cline during her lifetime which is to be
distributed as a part of the settlement of her estate is a certificate of deposit with Members First
Federal Credit Union, account number 261817-42, having a face amount of $100,000.00.
4. The instructions for the distribution of the certificate of deposit were that it was to
be payable on the death of the Decedent and divided evenly among the Decedent's three
grandsons (who are also Petitioner's three sons), Richard M. Cline, Peter Cline and Sam Cline.
5. Petitioner is the father of Richard M. Cline, born July 14, 1992, Peter Cline, a
minor, born July 20, 1995, and of Sam Cline, a minor born March 1, 1998.
6. The above-named grandsons reside with their father, the Petitioner herein, and their
mother at 423 McKinley Avenue, Libertyville, IL 60048.

7. The above-named minors Peter Cline and Sam Cline, each being entitled to a
portion of the above-mentioned certificate of deposit, and to protect and preserve the legal rights
of such minors, it is necessary that some proper person be duly appointed guardian of the estate
of said minors.
8. Neither of the above-named minors has a general or testamentary guardian
appointed by will, deed, or otherwise, to the knowledge or belief of Petitioner.
9. The Petitioner is a fit and proper person to be appointed guardian of the estate of the
above-named minors, being their natural father and being also the person named by the
Decedent as Executor to settle her estate.
10. Pursuant to the Probate, Estates and Fiduciaries Code, 20 PA.C.S. §5111(a), the
orphans' court of the county having jurisdiction of a decedent's estate, from which a minor's
interest is derived, may appoint a guardian of the estate for the minor's interest in the estate.
11. The above-described certificate of deposit is held with Members First Federal
Credit Union, a federally chartered credit union, having its main office and principal place of
business in Cumberland County at 5000 Louise Drive, Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania.
12. Further pursuant to the Probate, Estates and Fiduciaries Code, 20 PA.C.S. §5111(a),
the orphans' court of the county in which an asset of the minor's estate is located may appoint a
guardian of the estate for the minor's interest in the asset.
13. Ronald E. Johnson, Esquire has been contacted by counsel for Petitioner and has
confirmed that he is agreeable to serve as Guardian ad litem for the minors.
WHEREFORE, petitioner respectfully requests that this court decree that H. Richazd
Cline is appointed the guardian of the estates of Peter Cline and Sam Cline for the purpose of
receiving the distribution to which the said minors are entitled, being their interest in Members
First Federal Credit Union account number 261817-42, or any successor account, in connection
with the settlement of the Estate of Vaunlee E. Cline.
