Peters and Deborah L. Peters, Owners ("Owner"), and all that certain tract of land including improvements thereon, owned by him/her and described as follows: 10 Maurice Road Mt. Holly Springs, PA 17065 Tax Property Map: 40-32-2334 Parcel Number: 005 for sewer tapping, connection and permit fees charged and payable by October 1, 2000. Said fees were rendered pursuant to Section II and Section IV of the Sanitary Sewerage System Rates, Rules and Regulations resolution and applicable township ordinances. Attached hereto is a statement of the kind and character of the fees and ' charges therefor,, said statement being a true and correct copy of the Letter of Authorization compelling connection to the sanitary sewerage system of South Middleton Township Municipal Authority, which sum of $1,995.00 for tapping, connection and permit fees was duly assessed against the above Owner/s and premises requiring connection to said system by October 1, 2000 and for which sum, with interest, costs and penalties, a lien is claimed against the premises in accordance with the Municipal Authorities Act of 1945, May 2, 1945 P.L. 382, 53 P.S. §§ 301 et seo., as supplemented and amended and the Municipal Claims and Tax Liens Act, May 16, 1923, P.L. 207, 53 P.S. §§ 7101 et seq., as supplemented and amended. Holly Springs, PA 17065 Re: Sandbank Road / West Pine Street Sewer Project Service Address: 10 Maurice Road Parcel Number: 40-32-2334-005 Dear Brian: On July 17, 2000 the last manhole was set by the contractor which allowed the Authority to calculate the cost of the Connection fee. Under the provisions of Ordinance #4-14-72A enacted by the Township of South Middleton, you are hereby notified and authorized to make a connection from your property to the sewer collection system of the South Middleton Township Municipal Authority. Ordinance #-4-14-72A requires that such connection shall be completed within 60 days from the date of this letter. Failure to make such connection could result in prosecution, and / or in the Township making the connection at your expense. Billing will commence as of the date of connection. Any property not connected to the sewer system within 60 days of this notification will be billed on the same basis as properties which are connected to the sewer system. You are required to pay the current tapping fee of $1,233.00, connection fee of $752.00, and the permit fee of $10.00. These fees must be paid before any connection is made to the service lateral provided. The total amount due is $1,995.00 and should be made payable by one check to SMTMA.
